Founder and Lead Designer
For years, Nicole has been inspired by the beautiful and wild Colorado Landscape. While in quarantine, she devoted time to the design of her own garden, and began to shape plans for a big career shift. She dreamed of combining her long-time passions for design, nature, plants, flowers, and trees with the dependability and relationship-building skills acquired from her business experience. Soon after, her garden drew the notice of her first clients, and not long after, Larkspur was born. With the growth of these clients (and of her garden), also grew the encouragement to instill this love and passion with whomever seeks more life and beauty for their environments.

Growing up surrounded by gardens, Nicole developed an early appreciation for the relationship between people and plants. Her passion for sustainable landscaping led her to specialize in Colorado's unique growing environments, from urban Denver spaces to mountain gardens.
Nicole brings both technical expertise and creative vision to every project, focusing on designs that thrive in our challenging climate while creating beautiful, livable spaces. She's particularly passionate about incorporating native plants and water-wise design principles that support local ecosystems.
With a background in art and years of hands-on experience in the Front Range, Nicole helps clients create gardens that are both stunning and sustainable. She believes in educating clients throughout the design process, ensuring they feel confident in maintaining their new outdoor spaces.
